“Igniting a resurgence in contemporary 
art - an African Art Renaissance”


Antonia Pascoal lives in Toronto, Ontario since 2000. She was born in Angola and started painting while she was in elementary school. The development of her talent has been influenced by her teachers at the Central Commerce Collegiate during her years in high school. 

Antonia’s first individual art exhibition took place in London, Ontario in January 2007. From September 14 to October 14, 2007 in New York, she took part of an exhibit titled, “4th Annual Crossing Borders, Works by Canadian Artists”. 

Antonia Pascoal has also donated some of her paintings to raise funds for A Charitable Art Auction for  Distress Centre of Toronto and Juried Art Show in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada

In her upcoming solo show ‘My Black is Beautiful’, Antonia invites you to celebrate Black HIstory Month through her art. See the rich legacy of African Art and Heritage through her eyes.
